TikTok Set To Launch Its Own Photo-Sharing App Called TikTok Notes—-TikTok is planning to launch a photo-sharing app that will rival the likes of Instagram, named “TikTok Notes”.

TikTok users have reported receiving pop up notifications with information on the latest app. The Chinese-owned social media giant have not confirmed when it will launch – but have said it will be “soon”.

Reddit users have shared screenshots of what could be yet to come. In one picture, the message on the TikTok app reads: “Your photo posts will now be shown on TikTok”. It further explains: “TikTok Notes, a new app for photo posts, is coming soon! Your existing and future public TikTok photo posts will be shown on TikTok Notes.”

It continues: “If you prefer not to show your public TikTok photo posts on TikTok Notes, turn this off now” with a slider button below where people can chose to share on the new app or not.

TikTok confirmed to TechCrunch that they are working on the app but specified that it is not available yet. A TikTok spokesperson said: “As part of our continued commitment to innovating the TikTok experience, we’re exploring ways to empower our community to create and share their creativity with photos and text in a dedicated space for those formats”.

However, there is a Notes website that features a landing page below with the option to download the app. Currently nothing happens on laptop or mobile devices when the ‘Open App’ button is clicked.

According to What’s The Big Data, TikTok had “over 1.7 billion users as of 2023”.

Chelsea Handed Major Injury Boost

Chelsea Handed Major Injury Boost as James and Colwill Return—-Chelsea FC have received a timely boost ahead of a crucial run of fixtures, with captain Reece James and defender Levi Colwill both returning to full training.

Colwill, who has been sidelined since pre-season with a serious knee injury, is yet to feature for Chelsea’s first team this season. His absence has been keenly felt in defence, with the club forced to cope without one of its most highly rated young centre-backs.

The 23-year-old is now back in full training as he nears a long-awaited return, although he is expected to build match fitness gradually before being considered for senior selection.

Captain James, meanwhile, has also returned after his own injury setback, offering a significant boost in leadership and quality on the right flank.

With a series of important fixtures approaching, Chelsea will be encouraged by the return of both players as they aim to finish the season strongly.

While neither player may be rushed straight back into action, their availability at this stage of the campaign could prove crucial for the Blues.
