Lavia has only featured once in the Premier League this season after he was signed with injury from Southampton.
The summer addition has only featured once as a second half substitute against Crystal Palace where he sustained another thigh injury as he was unable to feature for Chelsea since December 2023.
Chelsea have lost some senior players to injuries this season with the likes of Captain Reec James, Christopher Nkunku, Wes Fofana still far from return date .
Chelsea will be looking to add to the squad in the summer but will have to be injury free players to avoid the same issues they’ve had this current season.
