BREAKING: Wike Confronts Soldiers Over Illegal Land Plot in Abuja (Videos)—-Minister Nyesom Wike of the Federal Capital Territory clashed with armed soldiers on Tuesday in Abuja’s Gaduwa District while attempting to enforce a stop-work order on Plot 1946, a site lacking valid titles and approvals allegedly developed by retired Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo.
Earlier, soldiers had repelled FCTA control officers, leading to Wike’s intervention where he accused the military of intimidation and secured assurances from Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa and the Chief of Naval Staff for resolution.
Wike reaffirmed his commitment to demolishing unauthorized structures across Abuja to uphold the city’s master plan.
