#DeadlineDay: Victor Osimhen To Stays At Napoli—-Thecloudngr reports that Victor Osimhen will not join Chelsea and will remain in Naples, where the 26-year-old Nigerian striker is under contract until 2026.
If nothing happens from Saudi next 3 days, Osimhen will stay at Napoli but he’s not going be part of the first team squad.
Osimhen will be with Napoli for the new season but zero minute of football as Napoli new manager Antonio Conte as he has already make his stance clear on the Super Eagles forward, Conte has already sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea as his first choice striker.
Chelsea reportedly offer a salary of 155,000 euros per week but was rejected by Osimhen camp as it was lower than what he’s currently earning at Napoli.
According to Fabrizio Romano on his X page the Chelsea and Osimhen saga is completely off as Chelsea have already walk away from the deal at the last moment of the deadline day.
Chelsea don’t want to break their new wage structure and Osimhen is not reducing his wages either.
