BREAKING: Kano Governor Orders Arrest Of Deposed Emir, Aminu Ado Bayero—-Tension has enveloped Kano State over alleged forceful return of deposed Emir Aminu Ado Bayero.

This is as the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has ordered his immediate arrest.

DAILY POST learnt that the governor, his Deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam and other top government functionaries have taken over the Emir’s Palace in an effort to prevent the deposed Emir’s forceful return.

A statement by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature, said that in the governor’s position as the State Chief Security Officer, he has ordered the arrest of the deposed Emir for violating the laws and his directives.

Already, the deposed Emir, Aminu Ado Bayero was said to have been brought back to Kano and was at the Nasarawa Emir Rest House adjacent to the Ministry of Works, while Governor Abba and his Deputy stayed foot at the Emir’s Palace after taking the reappointed Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II back to the Palace.

A video clip circulated on social media, shows Aminu Abdussalam, the State Deputy Governor speaking angrily, saying, “we are ready for them hence they want to bring chaos to Kano by their illegal actions of returning the deposed Emir Aminu Ado Bayero”.

“We are here, we are not going anywhere, because we understand that the NSA under the orders of Ganduje has brought back the deposed Emir with heavy security trying to bring him into the palace; we will not allow that to happen,” he alleged.

“The State Assembly deliberated for three days on the Emirate Council Law and Repealed it, and all the 40 members of the Legislative Chamber were there, so I don’t understand what the NSA and Ganduje want,” he further alleged.

Feelers revealed that two private jets were used to bring back the deposed Emir Aminu Ado Bayero back to Kano in an attempt to reinstall him, while the Governor and his cabinet members have already taken over the Emir’s Palace in anticipation of any unforeseen circumstance.

NASS Leadership Endorses Tinubu

2027: NASS Leadership Endorses Tinubu—-The leadership of the National Assembly (NASS) on Thursday at the National Summit of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, held in Abuja, endorsed President Bola Tinubu as their sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election.

The endorsement was moved by Sen. Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate, and seconded by Hon. Tajudeen Abass, the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

This followed an earlier endorsement of Tinubu as the sole candidate of the APC in the 2027 by Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum.

Akpabio moved that Tinubu should be adopted as the sole candidate of the APC for the Presidency in 2027.

“Nigerians are saying that because you have done a difficult job well, that it is time to reward you by sending you back to the Presidency for a second term in office,” he said.

Akpabio said the endorsement was based on the political sagacity of Tinubu, whom he said had been able to set Nigeria on the path of growth as confirmed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

He said Nigerians and people at the grassroots were very excited, and that members of the National Assembly were also excited and had never had it so good.

Abass said he stood on behalf of 109 Senators and 360 members of the House of Representatives, and all the 36 Speakers and their members, to second the motion raised by the president of the senate.
