BREAKING: Luis Castro Sacked As Al Nassr Head Coach—-Thecloudngr reports that SPL club Al Nassr have relieved head Luis Castro of his duty after 1-1 draw in their opening AFC Champions League against Al-Shorta.

Al nassr decide to part ways after a very slow start to the current campaign as the club only secure 1 win in their opening 3 league matches, sitting 7th on the league standing 4 points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad.

Luis Castro have only win one match in their 4 matches so far this season with 3 draws scoring 7 goals and conceding 3.

Al Nassr Saudi Club announced in an official statement, through its account on the X platform, the dismissal of coach Luis Castro from his position as technical director of the team.

The club said: “I decided Al-Nasr Club Company officially terminated the contractual relationship with the first team coach, Mr. Luis Castro.

He added: “The club appreciates all the efforts he made with Al Nassr, and wishes him success.”

It is noteworthy that coach Stefano Pioli is the first candidate to take over as coach of Al Nassr in the coming period.

The club is currently working on a deal to bring the Italian tactician to the club as new head coach to succeed the 63 years old Portuguese.

Stefano Pioli will be happy to be in the helm for one of the greatest footballer of all times Cristiano Ronaldo if he’s able to secure the job.
