Deafening SilenceMovie To Premiere At Ebony Life Place On Wed, June 5th—–Lagos, Nigeria – We are thrilled to announce the premiere of the highly anticipated gender-based movie “Deafening Silence,” as it hits the screen on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at Ebony Life Place, Victoria Island, Lagos. Directed by the acclaimed Biodun Stephen, this powerful film is a joint production by the EU-UN and Spotlight Initiative in collaboration with the United Nations Development Fund, UNDP, and the Foundation for Resilient Empowerment and Development, FRED.

“Deafening Silence” boasts an impressive lineup of Nollywood stars, including Toni Tones, Kate Henshaw, Femi Jacobs, Daniel Etim Effiong, Chidi Mokeme, Bimbo Akintola, Derby Felix, and Ekamma Etim-Inyang. The movie explores deep societal issues, delivering a poignant message about gender equality and empowerment.

Esteemed directors Emem Isong Misode, Abiodun Adebayo, and Biodun Stephen have lent their expertise to bring this compelling narrative to life. The film is produced by the talented Joy Uduak Johnson.

Following the premiere, “Deafening Silence” will be available for the public to watch in cinemas nationwide.

Topher, Kassia, Ocee Mbadiwe Evicted From BBNaija Season 9—-In a dramatic turn of events, Topher of the former Aces Duo and Ocee Mbadiwe of the famous Mbadiwe Twins have been evicted from the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 9 ‘No Loose Guard’ reality show.

The eviction of the two contestants came shortly after Kassia, the wife of Head of House Kellyrae, was also sent home during the live eviction show on Sunday.

Topher, a 24-year-old corporate personality, made headlines in the House after getting into a romantic relationship with fellow housemate Anita, who is 29. The relationship sparked significant drama and controversy among viewers and housemates alike.

Ocee Mbadiwe had recently opened up about his fiancée, who is currently pregnant outside the House, sharing that she was celebrating her birthday just days before his eviction.
