Manchester United Reach Agreement To Sign Matthijs de Ligt And Noussair Mazraoui From Bayern Munich—-Manchester United have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich to sign Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern in a €70m combine deal.

The centre-back and full-back will move to Old Trafford in a deal worth €45million, plus €5m in add-ons and €15m, plus €5m respectively.

Subject to undergoing a medical, De Ligt is to join United on a five-year contract that includes the option to extend by an additional 12 months.

Landing the 24-year-old Netherlands international — formerly of Juventus and Ajax — sees manager Erik ten Hag’s side strengthened with a young but vastly experienced and high level defender.

West Ham United agreement to sign Wan-Bissaka which pave way for the signing full-back Noussair Mazraoui, while talks over the length of the deal are ongoing.

The move is also still subject to Wan-Bissaka finalising his Manchester United termination.

A medical at the east London side is pencilled in for Sunday or Monday.

Wan-Bissaka has made 190 first-team appearances for United since joining from Crystal Palace for an initial £45m in 2019.

UCL: I’m Questioning Myself – Guardiola Responds To Man City’s 2-0 Defeat To Juventus—-Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said he is questioning himself after his team suffered a seventh defeat in 10 games against Juventus.

Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie scored in Turin to seal a 2-0 Champions League victory.

City’s next fixture will be away to Paris Saint-Germain and another defeat could send them into the bottom eight of the table and leave the club facing the humiliation of crashing out of the competition.

With the Manchester Derby next on Sunday, Guardiola said he is beginning to question himself as his side lurch from one defeat to another.

“Of course [I am questioning myself]. I have my thoughts,” Guardiola said.

“I’m stable in good moments and bad moments. I try to find a way to do it. I’m incredibly honest. If we play good, we play good.

“The dressing room is stable. Win we are happy, lose we are not. What can we do? Feel sorry for ourselves. No, we improve it and go forward.”
