Ondo Decide: APC Will Record Massive Victory – Party Chieftain—-Mr Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, says the massive votes the party will receive in the Nov. 16 governorship election in Ondo State will shock the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

Oyintiloye, who is a member of the APC National Campaign Stakeholders Engagement Committee for the election, said this while speaking with newsmen on Sunday in Osogbo.

The party chieftain, while noting that Ondo is a Progressives state, said the election would not be an exception, as APC is poised to record a landslide victory.

Oyintiloye, a member of defunct APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), said that the party’s candidate, Gov. Lucky Ayedatiwa, is a man of vision, and had achieved a lot through people’s oriented programmes.

He said that Ondo State had witnessed a steady transformation in areas of health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and rural community development, among others, within the 10 months that Ayedatiwa assumed office.

He added that close to eight years that the APC has governed Ondo State, the state has witnessed unprecedented transformation developments.

Oyintiloye , a former lawmaker, urged the electorate to come out en mass to give massive votes to APC to shock the opposition parties as a confirmation of the quality leadership of the incumbent governor.

“That is no doubt, the election is going to be free, fair and peaceful, and APC will win with a clear-cut margin.
“The electorate will never allow the state to go backwards, and that is why they will come out peacefully to vote for APC.

“There is no magic about it. APC will win massively, and the opposition parties will be shocked.

“Our committee, under the leadership of Gov Abdullahi Sule of Nassarawa State, will approach the task ahead of us with due diligenc,” he said.

Oyintiloye, however, appealed to the electorate to be peaceful and orderly before and after the election.

He said the election should not be seen as a do or die affair, adding that all political gladiators in the election should abide by the rules of the game.

2027 Decide: APC To Take Over Power in BauchiSenator Buba—-Senator Umar Buba (Bauchi South) has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will wrest power from the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State come 2027.

Buba, who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on National Security and Intelligence made, this known at the end of the 2024 critical stakeholders meeting held in Bauchi.

“The critical stakeholders meeting is for the peace, unity and progress of the party,” he said.

“You can see myself, our house of rep members, our honorable ministers, we all attended this meeting and we discussed the unity, peace and justice of the party in the state and I am impressed with the turnout.
“That is a clear indication that the party is ready and willing to take over Bauchi in 2027”.

The meeting was attended by Senator Buba, Ministers of Health and Social Welfare; Prof. Ali Pate, and Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf MaitamaTuggar, former governor Isa Yuguda, members of the House of Representatives and State House of Assembly, former party chairmen of the APC in the state and representative of the former governorship candidate, Abubakar Sadique, who was attending a national assignment.

In a communique issued to journalists at the end of the meeting on Saturday, the APC in the state unanimously resolved to support President Bola Tinubu administration’s renewed hope agenda and the two ministers from the state.

The communiqué, which was signed by the state Chairman, Muhammad Hassan, also resolved to constitute a discipline mechanism within the party to check erring members at all levels without fear or favour.

“The party shall ensure justice, equity and fairness to all at future congresses, primaries and general elections,” it added.

“We shall stand firm in support of all APC candidates in all future elections.”

It will be recalled that APC lost power in 2019 to PDP.
Its candidate, then governor, Barrister Mohammed Abubakar shockingly lost to Bala Mohammed of PDP by a slim margin.

The party attempted to reclaim power in 2023 to no avail, losing again.

This time, Senator Mohammed defeated APC’s Air Marshal Abubakar Saddique, former Chief of Air staff in a keenly contested and highly charged governorship election in 2023.

After the back to back defeats, the party went on a hibernated mode but has apparently bounced back if the attendance of the just concluded 2024 critical stakeholders meeting is anything to go by.

Senator Buba carries the renewed optimistic which the party is building on the anchor of peace, unity, progress which were hitherto missing, and seemed ready and poised to face the challenges of electioneering come 2027.
