Tope Alabi To Headline Luli Concert 2024 Alongside Dare Justified And Sola Allyson—-Evangelist Tope Alabi, Dare Justified, Sola Allyson, Tosinsings from the USA and other gospel artistes will minister at Luli Concert 2024 holding on Friday 4th of October, 2024 at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan Lagos as from 7:00pm.

This was disclosed to our correspondent at a recent press briefing held in Ikeja, Lagos.

Speaking to our correspondent, the convener of Luli Concert, Dr. Gbenga Daniel-Adebayo, noted that Luli Concert is a gospel music festival organised by El-Berachah Worship Ministry that seeks to create a medium to promote God’s word, worship and intercede via praises for the nation. This eighth edition is themed ‘Praise, The Game Changer – 2 Chronicles 20:1-30’

He reiterated that “there are promises that God has made concerning Nigeria when we activate the instrumentality of praise”. Other gospel artistes that will minister at Luli Concert 2024 include Segun Ajidara, Michael Harjovy, Femi Opalemo, Nazarite, Official BBO, Kent Edunjobi, Yinka Erinle, Kunle Ajomale, Kaywonder, Alayo Melody Singer and the Celestial Church of Christ’s Central Choir.

Other activities scheduled to celebrate the festival of praise include a 5-kilometre fitness walk to promote mental and physical well-being as well as a music masterclass for gospel musicians to hone their skills. When asked about the impact of Luli Concert in its host community, Dr. Daniel-Adebayo noted that free primary medical services will be provided to indigent members of the Lagos Island community for 2 days, a special medical outreach for visually impaired Lagosians, distribution of relief materials and medical supplies to patients at the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba-Lagos.

Easter: Oyo CAN Calls on Nigerians to Show Selflessness—-The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Oyo State has called on Nigerians to reflect the true spirit of Easter by embracing selflessness, love, and sacrifice.

In its Easter message, the association urged citizens to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ, stressing the importance of putting others first, especially in challenging times facing the nation.

The body noted that Easter symbolizes hope, renewal, and redemption, encouraging Nigerians to show compassion to the less privileged and promote unity across religious and ethnic lines.

CAN also called on leaders at all levels to govern with integrity and prioritize the welfare of the people, while urging citizens to remain steadfast in faith and committed to peaceful coexistence.

The message comes as Christians across Nigeria and the world celebrate Easter, a period marked by reflection, sacrifice, and the triumph of good over evil.

FG Declares 2-Day Public Holiday for 2026 Easter Celebration—-The Federal Government has set aside Friday, April 3, and Monday, April 6, as public holidays in observance of this year’s Easter festivities.

The disclosure was made by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, representing the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

In the statement, the minister extended Easter greetings to Christians both within Nigeria and in the diaspora, encouraging them to reflect on the significance of the season.

He urged Nigerians to practice values such as love, forgiveness, patience, and selflessness, which are central to the teachings and life of Jesus Christ.

Tunji-Ojo further called on citizens to uphold unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence, emphasizing their importance in maintaining national harmony.

He also reiterated the government’s dedication to policies aimed at driving economic development, national renewal, and inclusive prosperity.

April 3 will be observed as Good Friday, while April 6 is designated as Easter Monday—both significant dates marking the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
