BREAKING: Tinubu Calls For Immediate Suspension Of Protests—-President Bola Tinubu has urged protesters to halt their nationwide demonstrations to allow for dialogue and resolution.

Since August 1, Nigerians have taken to the streets to express their dissatisfaction with the worsening economic conditions and rising inflation.

These protests have sometimes turned violent, particularly in some northern states, prompting security forces to use tear gas in cities like Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and Kaduna to disperse the crowds.

In a national address on August 5, Tinubu acknowledged the grievances of the protesters.

“I urge the protesters and their organisers to pause further demonstrations to make room for dialogue, which I have always been open to,” Tinubu stated.
