Balogun announced the tragic loss on Saturday through his verified Instagram account, where he posted a somber image of a candlelight surrounded by flowers, accompanied by heartbroken emojis.

The sorrowful news was later confirmed by fellow actress, Ronke Oshodi Oke, who took to her own Instagram page to express her condolences.

Sharing a candle image, she wrote, “No words can ease the pain of losing someone so precious. My heart goes out to you @saidibalogun during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength in the love and support surrounding you.”

As of now, the cause of Zeenat Balogun’s death has not been revealed.
