Ronaldo In Tears As Al Nassr Falls Short In King’s Cup Final—-In a dramatic conclusion to the King’s Cup final, Al Nassr’s star player Cristiano Ronaldo was seen in tears after his team was defeated 5-4 on penalties by Al Hilal on Friday.

This heartbreaking loss means Ronaldo’s Al Nassr will finish the season without a trophy.

Al Hilal celebrated a league and cup double after the tightly contested match in Jeddah, which ended 1-1 following regulation and extra time.

The match saw early excitement when Aleksandar Mitrovic scored for Al Hilal in the seventh minute. Al Nassr fought back with Aiman Yahya equalizing in the 88th minute.

The heated game saw three red cards: David Ospina of Al Nassr was dismissed in the 57th minute, while Ali Al-Bulayhi and Kalidou Koulibaly of Al Hilal were sent off later in the match.

The hero of the night was Al Hilal’s goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, who saved Al Nassr’s final two penalties, sealing the victory and the trophy for his team.

Chelsea Gaffer Enzo Maresca Emerged As PL Manager Of The Month Of September—-Enzo Maresca has been named as September 2024’s Barclays Manager of the Month.

Maresca wins the award in only his second month as a Premier League head coach after leading Chelsea through the month unbeaten, winning three matches and drawing the other.

After a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, Maresca’s team got back-to-back away wins against AFC Bournemouth and West Ham United, before finishing the month with a 4-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.

Chelsea scored a competition-high nine goals across the month. Maresca says the team’s form is credit to everyone at the club and not just him.

“We had a very good month,” he said. “We all need people around us to make things better. I’m very grateful to have all of them [his staff].

“We are always looking at new things and how we can improve from different football and different countries.”

Maresca becomes the first Chelsea head coach to win the award since Thomas Tuchel, who claimed it in October 2021.

The 44-year-old topped a five-man shortlist that included Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery, Marco Silva and Arne Slot, claiming the award after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of experts.

It also makes it a September awards double for Chelsea, after Cole Palmer was voted the EA SPORTS Player of the Month.
