JUST IN: IDF Rescue 4 Hostages From #Gaza—-Israeli military forces successfully freed four hostages from the central Gaza region of al-Nuseirat on Saturday.

The rescue involved two separate locations and resulted in the safe recovery of three men and one woman who had been held captive since being abducted from the Nova music festival in southern Israel on October 7 of the previous year.

The individuals rescued were Noa Argamani, 25, Almog Meir Jan, 21, Andrey Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 40. After their release, they were taken to a hospital for medical evaluation and were reported to be in good health.

This rescue operation occurred amid an ongoing conflict in Gaza that began with a Hamas-led attack on October 7.

Currently, Israeli authorities estimate that 116 of the approximately 250 hostages initially taken by militants remain in Gaza. Of these, at least 40 have been declared dead in absentia.

Noa Argamani, one of the rescued hostages, expressed her gratitude in a video released by President Isaac Herzog’s office. “I am so happy to be here. Thank you for everything, thank you for this moment,” she said, smiling and seated beside her father in a hospital room. In another video, she conveyed her emotions to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating, “I am very moved. I haven’t heard Hebrew for so long.”

Argamani’s abduction gained widespread attention when a video of her being taken by two men on a motorbike surfaced online. In the footage, a visibly distressed Argamani cried out, “Don’t kill me!”

She and her boyfriend Avinatan Or were kidnapped from the Supernova festival on the morning of October 7; Avinatan Or is still believed to be in captivity.

Dangote Refinery Increases Petrol Price

JUST IN: Dangote Refinery Increases Petrol Price as Middle East Tensions Put Upward Pressure on Crude—Dangote Refinery has increased its Premium Motor Spirit gantry price.
The 650,000-barrel-per-day refinery increased its petrol price to N874 per litre, up from N799.

This means that the African’s largest refinery adjusted its petrol price by N75 per litre on Monday.
The spokesperson of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Chinedu Ukadike, confirmed Dangote Refinery’s price hike to Newsmen exclusively on Monday.

According to him, the move comes amid a hike in global crude oil prices following the Iran-United States-Israel conflict escalation in the past three days.

“It is due to global crude oil price volatility following the Iran-US-Israel war. It is the ripple effect of ongoing conflict,” he told Newsmen.

According to him, the development would trigger a retail fuel price hike nationwide.

The Genius Media Nigeria reports that on Monday, Brent and West Texas Intermediate crude blends rose to $78.50 and $71.84 per barrel, respectively, up from $72.87 and $67.02 on Saturday.

Recall that on January 27, Dangote Refinery had hiked its petrol price by N100 per litre to 799 per liter.
