Nigerian Military Capable Of Crushing All Armed Groups, Says Gov Sule—-Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State says the Nigerian Army has the capacity to decimate all armed groups disturbing the peace of the nation.

Sule, made this on Sunday during the 2023 West African Social Activities of the Nigerian Army’s IV  Special Forces command in the Doma Local Government Area of the state.

The governor lauded the efforts of the army and other security agencies in their battle against kidnapping, banditry and other security threats in the country.

The governor also commended the personnel of the Special Forces in tackling criminal elements within the state.

On the essence of the occasion, Sule lauded the force for maintaining its annual social event, WASA, which is aimed at bringing together officers and their families, to strengthen the existing bonds among different ethnic groups in the military.

The governor further said that the event was an opportunity for officers and soldiers to mingle, showcase their cultures and traditions.

He added that it was a pointer to the resolve and determination of the Nigerian Army to create an avenue to socialize with fellow soldiers and families.

The governor therefore, assured the army of the state government’s support.

“The IV Special Forces is a specialised component of the Nigerian  army which is saddled with the responsibility of Air-bound operations, counter insurgency, counter terrorism, foreign-internal defence and unconventional warfare among others.

“I am much aware of your operational efforts in the various parts of the states, some of which led to our gallant men paying supreme prices in service to the nation.

“In recognition of your patriotic service, this administration will continue to support the efforts of our security personnel through the provision of security vehicles for surveillance and other support to ensure the protection of lives and property of our citizens,” Governor Sule added.

Earlier,  the Commander of the special forces command, Maj.-Gen Hillary Nzan explained that WASA was created to take officers and soldiers away from their routine regimental life to an atmosphere, where they can unwind and relax freely with one another and civilians.

He promised to sustain the fight against all forms of crimes within the jurisdiction of the command.

Nzan, reiterated the  army’s commitment to continue to remain responsive to the task of defending the country’s territorial integrity.

Awards of excellence were presented to five officers who distinguished themselves..

Social Media Activist VeryDarkMan Submits Petitions Against Nedu To S.A., Moroccan, Turkish Embassies Over Alleged Drug Dealings—-VeryDarkMan stormed the embassies to alert them about Nedu’s alleged involvement in drug deals and fraud in their countries.

Thecloudngr reports that controversial social media critic, VeryDarkMan, has visited the South African, Turkish, and Moroccan embassies to submit petitions against popular media personality, Nedu Wazobia.

VeryDarkMan stormed the embassies to alert them about Nedu’s alleged involvement in drug deals and fraud in their countries.

The social critic made the development public in a video of his visit, shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday evening.

He submitted the petition alongside an alleged audio recording of Nedu in conversation with his friends, who are purportedly Yahoo Boys and drug dealers in those countries.

Captioning the video, he wrote: “If they try to bring you down and you survive, make sure they don’t. EXTREMIST #RATEL.”

This comes amid the ongoing social media feud between the duo, following comedian Deeone’s remarks about VeryDarkMan in an interview with Nedu on the Honest Bunch podcast.

Court Clears Naira Marley, Sam Larry And Prime Boy As Nurse Face Trial Over Mohbad Shock Death—-A Magistrate Court sitting in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, on Tuesday ruled that popular musician Abdulazeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, and socialite Sam Larry had no involvement in the death of singer Aloba Oladimeji Ilerioluwa, popularly called Mohbad.

The court’s decision comes after months of speculation and legal proceedings surrounding the controversial case.

Reading the legal advice of the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP), Lagos, Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje on Tuesday ruled that Naira Marley had no case to answer.

The court also freed Owodunni Ibrahim (Primeboy), and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde.

The DPP, however, stated that it will prosecute the auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, and Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq, for reckless and negligent acts contrary to Section 251 (e) of the Criminal Law, Ch C.17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.
