How Primate Ayodele Foretold Demise Of Owa Obokun Of Ijesha (VIDEO)—-The Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, a prominent Yoruba monarch, has joined his ancestors, after reigning for 42 years.

The first-class monarch, who once served as Chairman of Osun State Council of Traditional Rulers, was aged 87.

He was admitted at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, Osun State, till Wednesday, before he passed on.

Sources within the palace said the Oba passed away on Wednesday after a brief illness.

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele had warned some traditional rulers earlier to pray concerning their health and life as he foresees their demise.

As the man of God is known to be very precise in his warnings, Primate Ayodele mentioned names of some rulers including the Owa Obokun of Ijesha, Oba Gabriel Aromolaran.

These were his words:

These following kings should be prayerful; Oba Arabambi should pray not to fall sick and longevity of life, Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland needs prayers for God’s divine protection and good health, Emir of Daura, Adamawa, Katsina, Oba Sikiru Adetona needs prayers for his life…….’’

Just as the prophet said, the Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland, though was sick, but his health deteriorated earlier in the week and this led to his demise.

This is not to celebrate Primate Ayodele for prophesying the death of the king but to recognize the call of Primate Ayodele as a true prophet who foretells virtually everything before they happen. His prophetic prowess knows no bounds as it transcends into various sectors including sports, education, politics, aviation, corporate organizations, government establishments, to mention but a few.

Thecloudngr reports that the latest development was contained in a statement titled ‘Decree of Suspension,’ jointly signed by the Bishop of Warri, Rt. Rev. Anthony Ovayero Ewherido and the Chancellor/Notary, Rev. Fr. Clement Abobo, and made available to journalists in Warri on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

The statement disclosed that Oghenerukevwe entered into marriage with Dora Chichah on December 29, 2024, at the Streams of Joy Church in Dallas, USA, and footage of the wedding, which circulated online, prompted his suspension.

The Diocese revealed that on November 30, 2024, Fr. Oghenerukevwe requested to be released from all canonical obligations associated with Holy Orders.
However, the Diocese said it reached out to him, asking for the required documents to begin the process, but the priest secretly married without completing the procedure.

The Diocese further stated that Oghenerukevwe retains the right to petition for the revocation or amendment of the decree but must demonstrate a willingness to reform.

The statement read partly, “By this action, Rev. Fr. Daniel Okanatotor Oghenerukevwe has incurred a Latae Sententiae suspension in accordance with the provisions of Canon 1394 S1, and I, Most Rev. “As such, he is prohibited from presenting himself as a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Warri in any capacity. All canonical implications associated with this suspension take immediate effect (cf. Can. 1333).

“May God grant him the grace to reflect on this situation and guide him on the path of reconciliation.”
